May 5th, 2008 – Edison, NJ:
Those who have watched
National Geographic or the Discovery Channel would readily agree, it is always exciting
to see a Tiger than a Lion. Because the Tiger hunts its prey, on its own, quite
methodically. It lies in wait patiently, studies the moments of its target meticulously,
never hurries to alert its subject, but once it resolves to accomplish the task,
it hounds its food, determinedly, untiringly,
and JUST never lets it away. Just the
sight sends adrenaline pumping; heart beat soaring and brain nerves wracking.
This is a story of one such
young tiger @ NTR rearing to enter
Cinemas worldwide on the 9th of May’2008 as KANTRI. There was also a scene in NTR’s previous
blockbuster Yama Donga where NTR matches
every movement of a ferocious Tiger trailing its kill, so immaculately.
Now, NTR despite his fantastic
acting talents, despite few stupendous hits in the past, and despite his amazing
fan following back home, has never fully demonstrated his potential at the overseas
box-office. But KANTRI directed by the First
time Director Meher Ramesh with the extra ordinary production values of Vyjayanthi
Movies, depicts NTR ultra stylishly and is marked to give the Real Taste of an NTR
Extravaganza to the overseas audiences.
With
ample doses of spectacular action
and sharp humor and sizzling female leads in Hansika Motwani and Tanisha and the
Music with chart busters like 1..2..3
Nenoka Kantri, Vayassunami… and Ourouraa….
has already heightened the anticipation.
On a different note, May
9th is said to be a RED LETTER DAY in the history of Telugu Cinema with
several Block Busters hitting the marquee on the same day. Now coincidence has it
that though KANTRI was originally planed for a 7th May release is now
pushed by a couple of days to 9th of May’2008. So Destiny’s rendezvous
with this KANTRI is set to give History an ENCORE.
