A total of 54,703 people watched STALIN in the first five days in the overseas territories.
This is the highest number for the first weekend, for any South Indian Film till date.
A total of 30,803 people have watched the film in the 208 shows screened in USA and Canada in the first five days.
Previous first weekend record of 18,308 was for Jai Chiranjeeva - another Chiranjeevi starrer. In the Gulf, UK and
Asia Pacific over 23,900 people watched the movie. 3000 people saw the film in Singapore, while 16,000 people watched
it in Kuwait, Dubai, Masqat and Sharjah. Melbourne and Sydney returned a number of 1900. And the rest in UK.
The unprecedented response to the film made national headlines in India with national channels like CNN IBN presenting
special reports about the film.
