EDISON, New Jersey, Jan 2nd 2006: Leading Overseas Telugu Film distributors KAD Entertainment have bagged the overseas theatrical screening, DVD and Video rights to NTR’s prestigious forthcoming film ASHOK slated for March release. This is the first time that KAD Entertainment will be distributing an NTR film. In the past, KAD had released the DVDs of NTR’s super hit AADI in the overseas markets.

For ASHOK, NTR teams up with Surender, the Hot Shot director who made a scintillating debut with Kalyanram (another heir to the Legendary NTR legacy)’s Athanokkade in early 2005. Sameera Reddy plays the female lead. ASHOK is being produced by Valluripalli Ramesh under the banner Maharshi Cinema.

NTR’s SIMHADRI directed by S.S.Rajamouli was a stupendous hit in A.P. and had shattered many a box office records held for many years. Subsequent NTR releases after SIMHADRI, could not realize the true potential of NTR’s killer charm and his adrenaline raising performances. ASHOK is expected to DELIVER what all his fans have been waiting for and more. KAD Entertainment plans to launch ASHOK in a magnificent manner across world.
